They also said we'd have flooding this week and get between 2-3 inches of rain the metro. We got probably 3/4 of an inch tops.

While many people around Iowa did get a lot of flooding (Lincoln, Nebraska for example). They got the system right, its the exact tracking that is hard to predict.

But they said severe storms. They told me to download their weather apps.

I feel like they make things sound worse then it will be to get you to download their app. To watch their dedicated weather channels.

And to whomever posted about them hyping things up to get you to download the app you do realize the weather can be substantially different just a county it two apart.
