Sound like this is shaping up for the first big storm of 2015. For the meteorologists on here, what time of day will it get bad for the metro?

I don't believe them. The first real storm will happen on a day they say it will be sunny and 76.

Anyone actually have a weather update. We are hoping to have lunch outside for my wife. Are we going to get rained on?

You guys asking for the weather answers realize you can go to WHO or KCCI websites and look it up for yourselves, right?

Round one in the morning should be over by 11.

Round two in the afternoon/evening. Probably after 5-6 if not later.

There are other sites on the Internet?

I always say if we see a lot of sun after the 1st round, then Iowa will get rocked with an outbreak for severe for the 2nd round in the afternoon.

That's always been my opinion about severe weather outbreaks, its all about the daytime heating...

They also said we'd have flooding this week and get between 2-3 inches of rain the metro. We got probably 3/4 of an inch tops.
