Or it could be that people in the programs are running towards lifeboats as the ship starts to capsize.
Let me know when one of those guys who leaves goes on to do something. Mutcherson has the potential but he isn't leaving because of playing time.

The whole program, even internally, is a mess from everything I have heard. So players leaving should be not be any surprise. Sounds like Julian Good-Jones is taking an official to Louisville per their rivals site, so should continue to be fun.
It's funny you don't post when good things happen in terms of recruiting.

Careful. If you hear things that are not considered good news then people will call BS. If you hear things that are positive they'll eat it up. It's the nature of the beast.
When you consider how many players have departed the program in the past 1-2 years for various reasons it is pretty obvious that there is a number of problems. Anyone who doesn't see that simply doesn't want to believe it. It's as simple as that.
Is a TE necessary? Yeah it's nice when you have a matchup nightmare like Bibbs, but personally I don't see a need for a TE and would rather have 4 WR's out there.
Spoken like a linebacker! Have issues with TEs, huh? [jimlad]

Wondering if we'll see APR hits in the coming years if the attrition continues. Our last reporting period was pretty dismal.
We're down over the last 2 years 10-15 players that need to be filled with new players that need to learn all the new schemes and develop physically and mentally over the coming years to just get back to being crappy. Losing a kid who isn't going to play and replacing him with a kid that isn't going to play for 2-3 years is not an overall winning strategy.
Get rid of the bad kids. But recruit better kids to start out. We will not strike gold in 1 or 2 players. We need as many of the 85 scholly kids in the program, learning the schemes, and contributing on and off the field as we can over the entire course of their careers.

I just heard that Ecby and Nealey left the team today. Hope it's not true.
No disrespect you young Mr Medders....
But if he thinks that the past few seasons have equated to "fine" - I think I see a good chunk of the problem.
