Real Coach @ UNI

I distinctly remember a quote when I went to Cedar Falls for GMAC's 1st game as our coach against the Panthers. Quote was this from a UNI/Hawk fan. He went on & on about how he loved GMAC, but, said that the man who was the "Real Coach" was Ben Jacobsen.

At the time, I thought it was sour grapes. But watching this past season unfold as it did..............THANK YOU CREIGHTON!!!

ISU came out ahead 3.3 million dollars & got out of a stinker of a coach who had problems relating to players with talent. 22 defections in 4 years he was here is absurd, absurd! The man coached 3 NBA players (WJ, Brackins & the guard he recruited that very 1st season he kicked off), maybe 4 if Gilstrap gets a sniff.

Greg is a mid-major guy & back where he belongs. Now let's go get a "Real Coach"

But seriously, the moment McDermott said something about beating Iowa during his first public appearance, it was a bad fit for ISU basketball.

This has been a pretty incredible assortment of circumstances, and very positive at that. What's Larry E.'s crew doing this year?
