MBB Open Scholarship

****, I was at ISU for the Michigan State game and the Blarge. Then I watched Seneca and the football team melt down against OU and turn a 6-1 record into 7-7. And Larry Eustachy flushed his career down the drain for Natty Lites and Mizzou co-eds. And then they hired Wayne Morgan and wasted years of talented players.

Ah, the memories.

Best player available. If it's Tyler Harris, awesome. If not, see what shakes out in the transfer market. There'll be plenty of opportunities there as well.

Right. There are not immediate needs for next years roster that is critical to fill. The staff can wait for the market to develop and only go after the top available talent. Unlike the past couple of years were there were multiple roster spots to fill and needed to contribute.

Wow, swing and a miss. I graduated from ISU before you could ride a bike.

You might want to turn that chair around and take a seat. I've seen more **** than you have and I'm still not scared.

OOOH. We're having a "Back in My Day" walk-off!

I think that was the joke. :p

Being a Cyclone fan is hard. The hits come fast, hard, and early.

I am around the same era and I know not to even try to play that card. Older folks know far worse than we ever will

2009 is awful recent to be playing "back in my day"

Again, that was the joke. Even since 2009 there has been some hay-makers.

I started watching in the late 1990s, though. I cried after the real Malice in the Palace.

Good grief, if you went to ISU for 15 years I hope you at least go by Dr. Veloclone.

This is why I am guessing it won't get used this year.

My only point is don't be afraid...young or old. Bad stuff happens to 99% of the fan bases. Whining about is the worst part of it. Not saying you are whining but there's a decent amount of it.

I remember a real bulky point guard we got from Wisconsin one time. His name was Diante Garrett. Thank goodness he was built so strong when he got here so he could get playing time.
Oh yeah, I remember him. He's the one that played on those terrible McDermott teams.

Probably not the best guy to pull out of your hat to justify Haliburton's frame.

Nobody has answered the question yet. Is Tyler Harris not interested in us or are we looking for some other piece of the puzzle that have lead to Petersen's and Williams's comments? I suppose TH could have been hearing the rumors for some time about Tubby axed for Hardaway and that is what he was waiting on.

CW basically said on the fawcast he has no reason to believe Harris will end up a cyclone. Time to move to transfers.

1. Knownothing's joke went totally over your head
2. DG has played in 90 games in the NBA. That's a pretty good player in my book.
1. Evidently it did. I'm definitely missing it.
2. Yeah he definitely was. As a senior and post college. But a freshman DG isn't stepping onto a good team and making a meaningful difference.
