Didn't Haliburton have a really good senior year? And named Wisconsin Gatorade Player of the Year? Everyone seems to be downplaying what a great get he is and assuming Harris would be better. If they are comparable in skills, and not that far apart in ratings, I like 6'5" over 5'10" as a plus for Tyrese. I admit I have not seen Harris play so if he has something special I may not be aware of it.
I don' think people have forgot about him. Just not getting to excited for him to play alot next season mainly due to his very thin frame. He will be very good in the future tho.

I don't think he will play a lot but it isn't like he is going to be matching up against power forwards. If he is guarding a PG his height and length will more than likely counter any advantage a smaller PG would have over his weight.

I remember a real bulky point guard we got from Wisconsin one time. His name was Diante Garrett. Thank goodness he was built so strong when he got here so he could get playing time.

They can pay that over 6 years, so with Penny likely being cheap their annual HC cost won’t increase that much, and should be partially offset by the fervor for tickets Penny will likely create.

They could easily bring in an additional $1.5M per year from ticket sales alone. 3k more fans x $30 x 18 home games.

Well, if Harris wants to play for Penny in Memphis, good luck to him. I will be interested to see how Penny works out in trying to bring that program back.

I am sure Prohm has his ear to the ground for the best sit-out transfer, late high school signer, or even a JUCO. I know he has done poorly on graduate transfers, but I imagine that our current sit-outs in Shayok and Jacobson will do nicely. He also bagged a pretty good JUCO in Jackson previously. I trust him when shopping on the sit-out/JUCO market.

Not as much with graduate transfers, but we seem to be over that given the current construction of the roster and going forward. That works for me.

Bring in talent -- I care less where it is from. Speaking of which...

Now if those THT rumors would just go away. I do not find them credible, but that kind of expert trolling kind of nags at you with a long summer coming up.

You allow yourself to be nagged by rumors. Don't do it.

Pull up a chair, son, let me tell you some war stories. I finished undergraduate in 2009, to give you some context on that.

****, I was at ISU for the Michigan State game and the Blarge. Then I watched Seneca and the football team melt down against OU and turn a 6-1 record into 7-7. And Larry Eustachy flushed his career down the drain for Natty Lites and Mizzou co-eds. And then they hired Wayne Morgan and wasted years of talented players.
