I would imagine he knew that tubby was gone and penny was definitely going before we did definitivelyCW basically said on the fawcast he has no reason to believe Harris will end up a cyclone. Time to move to transfers.

Yep, 83 was my freshman year too. And football didn't get any better or should I say it was NOT Finer with Criner. At least we had Johnny and the boys during the winters.Try growing up in hawk country and then going to Iowa State during this:

Oh yeah, I remember him. He's the one that played on those terrible McDermott teams.
Probably not the best guy to pull out of your hat to justify Haliburton's frame.
He played in the nba
He doesn't if Hoiberg never comes along. He played in the nba
Good find. He never made it on a visit iirc. I'm not finding any advanced stats but 9ppg for a freshman is pretty good.Parker Stewart announced he is transferring from Pitt, we tried last year to get involved. From Prohm's stomping ground...get him.
Pull up a chair, son, let me tell you some war stories. I finished undergraduate in 2009, to give you some context on that.

The comparison of Haliburton - Garrett is fine. I'd be happy if he is DG by his senior year. My point is, Garrett had the role he had because those teams were so bad. Freshman DG doesn't play meaningful minutes on next years team and Haliburton won't either imo. Haliburton needs time in the weight room. Doesn't mean he can't be a good player with his slight frame.Garrett's freshman year stat line:
22.2 min
6.3 ppg
1.8 rpg
2.8 assist (2.4 turnovers)
0.9 steals (1st on team)
Not bad considering the amount of minutes he got as a freshman. (His per 40 averages were over 10 points and 5 assists). Keep in mind that his 6.3 ppg was on a team that averaged just 64 points per game.
The reason the 2007-08 team was so bad is because Garrett was one of just five Big 12 caliber players on McDermott's roster that year (four of those players were forwards, and three of them were freshmen and sophomores).
As a backup point guard Haliburton would be asked to play a similar amount of minutes, or less. The comparison sounds about right to me.

Yes please!!!!!
Yeah, we don’t need no future pros. Only current pros, maybe? Just spitballing here.

Not necessarily. Many of Prohm’s seasons as head coach have not exactly been Hoiball in terms of structure or style, particularly when he had his own players. So you just completely derailed your point by saying it was the coach's fault he wasn't good his first years?
Not a very good debater, are you?
