I really hope whoever comes in is willing to keep Broomfield as the DC. He is a guy that I can see as a future HC here.Hope that's true

We need to calm down and appreciate everything Coach has done for ISU. Some of the comments here are disgusting. We were nobody, CMC came in and made ISU relevant and for that lets have good things to say about him, not this "hypocrite" talk or labeling him whatever. I will be sad if he leaves, but we just don't have the money to pay the best players out there. So he is limited and might want to look to see what he can do with a lot of money like at Penn State. A lot of us would jump ship if we were in his position, so if there are hypocrites, its most of us commenting here with negative vibe. A lot of us don't even donate to NIL cause yet we want our team to do well. I think we need to stay positive but also find ways we could help our school. I don't know if the peole responsible for raising money for NIL are really doing much because personally I have never received a call or email asking me to danate, granted I don't have a lot of money, but if I can subscribe to watch youtubetv or all those other services, then I can afford a $100 donation. Every little amount helps if used appropriately.
We did.the days of coaches being somewhere for 20 years are long gone.....AD's and fans don't have the patience anymore.
Again, not all things are mutually exclusive. One can be grateful for the success of the program the last 10 years, but also be pissed for Campbell completely gutting our program at such a pivotal time.We need to calm down and appreciate everything Coach has done for ISU. That kind of juice might help JP close a deal in 60-70 days! We’ve arrived!
Agree that tied one hand being JP's back, but he tied the other one by himself. It's time for him to go.I can't think I've ever rooted for an ISU coach that left, but this might be a first for me.
Guy took ISU to a new level and did everything except win the Big 12 championship.
Expanded growth of the program, built facilities, and ran about the cleanest program we have seen.
Guy was loyal for 10 years, despite many offers to double salary.
Ends up leaving for a national program close to home.
JP playing with one hand tied behind his back due to the difference in revenue between SEC/Big10 and Big 12.
Yep. When Coach Campbell finally hangs up the headset, he deserves a statue here. He is the best coach ISU has ever had, and brought the most success during his tenure.I can't think I've ever rooted for an ISU coach that left, but this might be a first for me.

But they play Iowa and Nebraska sometimes, and that row the boat guy.I will always route against Pedo State regardless who the coach is!!!
