Major Site Enhancement & Feature Additions Coming

Over the course of the next month, I'll be introducing some major new enhancements and features for CycloneFanatic. I'll try to keep things clean and simple, while also introducing features that I think will really help enhance the site and member interaction.

I'll be posting more about the coming features next week but they don't change how CF functions and will simply allow members to customize things more to their liking and allow for better navigation of the site and it's hidden features.

I'm still working on things. I revised my plans a bit based on some of the feedback we've had on other features. I should have some visible changes in about two weeks time.

I think we should get multiple animals wearing pancake hats to go along with new simples. I want to start having a new simple every week.

Well a very small thing has now been added. Go to the "Forum Home" HERE and you'll see a new stats bar at the top. This is a very small part of my big project though.

I introduced a few new features this week but they were moderator specific. I should have some additional tweaks in place this weekend and hope to have the bigger enhancements and features done within two-three weeks.

Jeremy... I like the new stats feature on the home page... however... it isn't really accurate. It says last 30 days, but the stats for # of posts, threads started... etc. are all lifetime stats.

I wanted to keep the overall individual numbers as lifetime but the thread and post stats looked better being recent stats since there are some older threads around coaching hiring times that would never move from the list.

I'm not sure if you're filtering out closed threads or not - but if not - you may wan to add that too. I think there are a few old closed threads that were pretty big.
