Loudest Moment in JTS

The Curvey pick against Colorado was the loudest for me. I still laugh when Walter's interviewed him after the game. Brent said he was watching the jumbo tron while running to make sure the guy didn't catch him from behind.....

I couldn't go to the ISU v Nebraska game in 1992 because we had a brand new baby girl and had just moved into a new place north of campus on 24th st. I was watching it on TV and right after Seiler's run, I ran outside and it was so loud I could feel the noise...nearly two miles away.....There were 42,000 at that game, I'm not sure how many Nebraska fans, but I think I heard every single ISU fan!

That game was Tom Osborn's only loss ever to a team with a losing record....

Don't forget that was also kNU's last loss (reg. season - excluding the bowl game chokes) before their back to back National Championships in '94-'95.

Of course I was living in Lincoln those two years so I could "enjoy" those two seasons. That game was my only defense against arrogant Fuskers while I was there.

Could you all imagine the noise if the '09 NU game was at Jack? Imagine eight thundering boos turned into YYYYYYYYYYYEEEEESSSSSS!

While i'm sure the noise would have been very loud...part of the magic of the 09 NU game was that we had just won somewhere we had not won in 33 years, and that was also part of the passion.

That said, i'm sure the atmosphere would have been pretty sweet, and I would have been able to turn around and laugh in my friends face who is a NU football fan for the length of the game instead of calling him and laughing. But still, without the difference in venue, there's a good chance we don't have the passionate video of CPR making ESPN and even the next weeks pre-game highlights for what football is about.

I know a lot of these are loudest football moments, but id say the loudest moment would have to be either one of the flyovers or when we had howitzers going off in the north end zone.

Colorado game and I have been going since Jack Trice was built. Marv Seiler run was very close. The only reason that was not the number one spot was half the stadium was Nebraska fans who came over for the cheap tickets.

I haven't read any post on this as of yet:

1. I would say "The Run" against Tech
or
2. Kick-off that we on-sided against Nebraska one year with Sage as the QB. Might be the 2000 game. (We lost the game I believe) Anyways..... we on-sided it and got it...it was SOOOO LOUD....everyone was going crazy.......and both teams were having great years too...big game..... I never - ever heard JTS so loud. It was nuts.... I also think we threw it deep the first play....and that was loud.....

That 2000 team still might be the BEST team in ISU history.

Now that I think of it..the ISU-Iowa game..... in '05 when that D-Bagg Tate got knocked out...and we picked it off and ran it back for a TD.....the stadium was rocking then too. I mean, really freaking loud.

CyLoboClone, loving your avatar. That is baaad!

meh- it is shot here- I remember the second season when he was missing and his wife was puting the signs on all the poles- I actually saw them and hadn't seen the show- I was like: who is that gross looking dude?? turns out it was Bryan Cranston.

Stadium was louder b4 it was reconfigured ++ more people and tall north end Zone -- I'd say
L Blues KO return for TD in 76 or 77 vs NU

1. 2005 Iowa - Hicks INT TD
1. 2005 CU - Curvey INT TD
2. 2007 Iowa - Culbertson FG

Have not missed a game since 2005. But now I'm moving to Texas and I'm hoping to make one a year or so in Ames.
