Only then on the very next offensive play to have Lane Danielson score his 81-yard touchdown on his reverse, and Tech crumpled like a paper bag.
Tech's offense might have answered with a long drive and score, but their defense was clearly shaken after that run, and it was clear they didn't recover after that, as they gave up TDs on three consecutive possessions following "The Run". Ironically, Tech's offense couldn't score enough points to make up for their hemorrhaging defense, something you don't hear about often from Leach teams.
The Curvey pick against Colorado was the loudest for me. I still laugh when Walter's interviewed him after the game. Brent said he was watching the jumbo tron while running to make sure the guy didn't catch him from behind.....
I couldn't go to the ISU v Nebraska game in 1992 because we had a brand new baby girl and had just moved into a new place north of campus on 24th st. I was watching it on TV (or listening on the radio) and right after Seiler's run, I ran outside and it was so loud I could feel the noise...nearly two miles away.....There were 42,000 at that game, I'm not sure how many Nebraska fans, but I think I heard every single ISU fan!
That game was Tom Osborn's only loss ever to a team with a losing record....

Personally the loudest I remember was the Colorado game during/after BC's interception. The 2005 Iowa game was pretty festive the whole game, but I just don't remember any single moment as loud. The INT for a TD was pretty loud, as was the last big pass play to Blythe at the end. Of course lots of these games are a little fuzzy to remember.
I was at The Run game, and it was loud, but not so loud where it sticks out. I wasn't at either of the next games mentioned, but from the TV the 15-13 game I assume was an explosion of noise since it was a rare game winner. I only saw Curvey's interception on TV, but you could tell everyone was going crazy because it took him so long to run that straight shot into the endzone, and everyone was willing him in.
The thing I remember most about that game was the shots on the big screen of all the iowa fans streaming out of the stadium very early.
Then a bit later, they put up the iowa semi on the big screen
"How 'bout them hawkeyes".

I would have to lean toward CU since the game was on the line at the end and those returns by Paris and Big Play were so clutch. Plus the tornado factor added a very unique and electric feel to the game.
Although the Lamarcus Hicks pick-6 vs Iowa was definitely an insane moment at the Jack. Tough call.

You asked what the loudest moment was ever, I know this isn't where you were going
but it had to be the Rolling Stones Steel Wheels Concert. I went home from that and my ears kept ringing for 2 days. People in Story City reported hearing it, I am told.

Yes... Let's not forget the Steve Paris fumble recovery and run for a long touchdown. The crowd erupted when he came out of the pile with the football straight down the sideline for a touchdown. :yes:

If I remember right he almost ran up the "tunnel" toward the ISU locker room. He must have thought better of it because he turned around soon after.

I've said it before, but the loudest I ever heard it, to my memory, is the 1993 Iowa game. We were down 31-7 entering the 4th, cut it to 31-28 and then recovered the onside kick. At that moment it got REALLY loud.
The quietest moment could have been a minute later when Bob Utter was stripped from behind ensuring that we lost.
