This would be so freaking simple get a old JD A or a international h or m paint one side cardinal and gold. The other purple and silver then put the scores of all thr games on a plaque hung on the front and if that fills up add one to the back hitch.

Between the 2 fan bases all the a.d. depts would have to do is approve it the fan bases would have it done in 6 months and for free, more than likely.

The best I can tell is that the people in those positions are leery about leaning into the "hick" stereotypes, which is a major mistake IMO given the respective fanbases.

I don't think Pollard is worried about that, maybe he is but he's never been worried about being hip and cosmopolitan. Plus the rest of the country (online at least) calls it that already.

Pollard has shut this down as has KSU's AD. I know this for a 100% fact.

I'm speculating about their logic, but they've made it very clear that they (the respective ADs) don't want to formally acknowledge this rivalry.

Very VERY few rivalries carry much interest outside their respective fanbases.

Most "rivalries" are manufactured and no one really cares about those (like people trying to make ISU/KSU a big deal). Real rivalries are cared about by more than their fan bases.
