I just hope they don't burn through all the money before they do the work they've been talking about in Des Moines. I know nothing about soccer/football in Italy but that purchase seemed like a very bad idea from the beginning and the amount lost so far is staggering.

Wait… what?

Only reason I really care about kum and go is because Krause is trying (or was) to bring a professional soccer team to Des Moines. This probably helps that. But it does suck that a locally owned business is being sold out of state... I'm sure Hy-Vee is next...

I always avoid K&G because they were trash in my town, now Yes Ways, and they support the hawks only.

If they don't keep the name they are dumb, it's free advertising. People literally buy kum and go merch, you don't see people buying Kwik star merch or whatever lol
Maybe not Kwik Star, but you'll definitely see plenty of Kwik Trip merch in Wisconsin.

K&G stores (and solar) were doing well but it sure looks like the Krause Family has been bleeding money on their other investments the last few years.

i have suspicions they needed some cash.
I don't wish ill well on them personally, but aren't they huge UI donors? This development wouldn't break my heart, but I'm petty like that.
