ISU wins by 13-20 points.... unless we get the Baylor refs.

Enough to think KU is better than them? Bold take.

I think Atlanta said BU is the worst team in the conference.

That's a pretty good worst team in a conference I guess.

He said like a week ago KU had a couple good wins. I asked him which of them were good wins to no answer.

Obviously KU is improved. But after one conference game to say they're better than the Champs is a bold take.

if we have a 0 turnover game I feel great about our chances. I'm just not sure how likely that is.
I said the same thing past saturday...and I'll be darned if we did way worse than that, throw in the questionable calls ....and STILL had a chance.

If we can go into Iowa and march a 99 yard drive vs that defense, I think we can do the same vs KU.

Sure, they will have a crowd, so we need to quiet them...and Dekkers needs to take a breath and flush the 3rd quarter from.this week from his memory

If we can contain their mobile qb and not commit turnovers, we win a tight game.

If we go and cough up the ball, commit drive-killing penalties, and can’t wrangle in their qb, we’ll get a spanking’.

As usual- it’s going to come down to which team shows up Saturday.

I’d really like to see ISU win but KU scares me in a way they never had before. Even if the Jayhawks lose on Saturday I think they’re still bowling in December.

It really depends on which ISU team shows up. If they play like they did against Ohio and SEMO, it’s a close win, but if things go south like they did vs Iowa and Baylor, it’s really hard to see how they’re going to usurp a very motivated and confident KU team, especially for their first conference home game of the season.

I do think that KU is a better team than Baylor. In my opinion the big thing that we are missing is a run threat from Dekkers. Our D seems to be pretty good but I agree that we can give up big plays easily especially in the passing game. This would be a huge win for us if we can pull it off.
KU is better than Baylor? Are you serious?

The ISU defense is better than KU's in every category. I think ISU's overall offensive weapons trump Daniels, ISU wins 35-27

It's funny to listen to everyone in the media jump on KU's bandwagon. I get it, it's a neat story. But I heard Chip Patterson from CBS/Cover 3 yesterday list KU as a top half team in the Big 12 going forward. They still have a lot to prove in the conference.

They come back to earth on Saturday.

It’s sad that we are worried about KU this far into CMC’s program even though we are sort of rebuilding this year.
I mean tbf it looks like Kansas may have really found their "Campbell". KU in the past never would start 4-0....

I think we'll be able to score some points since KU's defense is still pretty shaky...now containing Jalon Daniels will be a big priority...we're probably bound to give up some chunk plays. I think we win 38-24

KU has run over teams- literally- and idk if ISU has the LB to stop them. Freaked back will help. My concern with them passing is with the lack of pressure on the qb and play action- the DL and LB’s.
Offensively, Dekkers needs to stop turning the ball over and make easy throws easy with good footwork. Im concerned about this game- which I didn’t think I’d say a few weeks ago.

Agree but I worry we may not have someone athletic enough to contain him even if they're locked on. There is no Mike Rose, Marcell Spears or Willey Harvey to match the athleticism of a mobile QB. And if we drop the Star to spy, that's one less DB covering the deep shots

I think Reeder could be that guy - athletic enough to limit (not totally stop) the scrambles and make him uncomfortable, anyway. And if that doesn't work, how about Freyler? Sure you're "losing" a DB, but our other 4 back there have played pretty good - guess you might have to pick your poison. I doubt the hit the deep ball as consistently as his legs will hurt you.

I'm surprised 23 people have KU winning by 8+. We just lost against the defending conference champs by 7, do you 23 people have KU winning it all? Sure, their greatly improved, but as others have mentioned they haven't played much yet.

Good guys by 10-14.
