Very respectable, Tang could learn a thing ir two from Sampson.
Really, all Big12 coaches outside of that one are class acts. Scott Drew has even grown on me over the years to be one of my favorite opposing coaches.
Extremely classy, hope they show how tough they are in the tournament. I have no doubt they’ll have a bit of a red ass going in.

He is a class act and a hall of fame coach. It won't be that easy if we see them again. I hope we don't see them until the championship game if ever. They are gonna want blood.

I don’t think I would want to see them in the first round.
Sampson got caught cheating but it was never anything real horrible. Mostly improper phone calls, which ever coach does. Fred even got busted for it

Houston and Sampson are quickly becoming my second favorite big12 team/coach.
Everything he did is now perfectly legal.
The college game is better for getting him back from the NBA and his son is going to keep Houston a monster program.
Sampson went out of his way to compliment the Iowa State fan base, at least five times in that postgame. Said our fans had the arena ‘lit’ and make the Big12 tourney ’unique’.
One of the best postgames by an opposing coach that I have ever seen. Masterclass on how to handle defeat and not be afraid to give credit where it is due. TJ should show it to every recruit to help drive home what we have in Ames.

Much different tone than the loss in Ames. I don’t think he gave ISU an ounce of credit in that one. I’m sure he didn’t think we were any good. We didn’t have any quality wins at that point. Nice to hear his stance change a bit.
