I guess its not great but it is far from the worse thing I have seen. Brady Morningstar told me and others in Cyclone Alley to shut the ***** up. How is that different? It probably happens more than one thinks.

I won't tell a lie either, while I was living in Zimbabwe, every time anyone did anything in a car, the other guy would flip you off. I got flipped off so many times: one day someone cut in front of me and I had to swerve to avoid him. I flipped him off, my wife, my two kids observed the whole thing. If I could have got a hold of that guy, it would have been a flagrant foul.
I could find myself having the same take if he was a 10 and 8 kind of guy, and a real enforcer that could be counted on. But he's largely been a non-factor this season, and has been seen many times clearly pouting from the bench. He would have been better served by directing his "passion" towards improving his bball IQ this year. Book has been his own worst enemy.
I hate to pile on, but that flagrant was costly and he hasn't earned the right to pull a stunt like this one. Double standard? Maybe, but that's basketball.

Are we sure Booker wasn't just demonstrating the shape of the state of West Virginia? Seems like it could be their hand signal like hook 'em horns or guns up.

What Booker did wasn't classy or appropriate, but the writer of the article basically says "I'm a d-bag" throughout the entire article.
I hope all of you excusing his behavior weren't the same people freaking out about Elijah Johnson's dunk.

I don't know if it was ever mentioned, but I'm sure this would've been a HUGE deal had we lost this game by 4 points or less.
Booker is who he is. Not the type of conduct you expect from a 5th year player and it will hurt his team if something comes from it. But in context he was playing against a beast of a man and we needed his minutes. He played pretty well and I anticipate we will need similar defensive effort if this team wants to make some noise in the tournament.
Leave it to the Register to capture the really important stories when ISU likely just secured an NCAA bid in consecutive years.

I have less of a problem with the foul than what he did afterwards and find it hard to believe any true ISU fan condones what he did. It reflects bad on Iowa State and the entire team. Especially when you see tweets like, "#IowaState are a real classy bunch". Hoiberg sets the standard for class, and this definitely does not hold up to the standard.
