keep it classy booker

Here's my opinion on the deal.

90% of people on CF at the beginning of the year: "Get Booker out, he shows no emotion!"

Booker flips the camera off, 90% of people afterwards: "Get Booker out, he shows too much emotion!"

He ****ed up. Give him a warning and let him play. He was a huge reason we beat Okie State. He knows his time in basketball is ending. He is going to be big for us down the stretch.
 
I say anything that actually fires him up is good. We need him to be that NASTY guy under the basket, make a few people think he has some screws loose, play the madman and ride the lightning!!! BOOK BOOK BOOK BOOK!!

AND..

Who wouldn't want to give West Virginia the finger...he just had the balls to do it.

I just thought I would lighten up the conversation a little. I hate to see Booker suspended at this point. I tend to say, I didn't see it, didn't see any picture, I think it was a doctored picture, a conspiracy by espn to get poor Booker. Not that I believe any of that, but I still say it. Booker was stupid, but we need him, and I doubt that a suspension will change Booker into a better person. You see players cussing all the time on tv, Booker just cussed with his finger. That is if it isn't like I said, a birth defect.
 
Unfortunate it was shown on tv..but I can't judge. I flipped off Kilicli several times through my tv
 
I think it should be a "don't let this happen again" maybe a convo saying just keep your emotions in check and don't hurt your team. Had this been a thing where he got teed up and cost us a win that's different. Am I saying it was ok? No but we shouldn't overreact

Do they suspend fans watching their television? I don't think it is right just to be able to flip off your tv. For some reason, I knew that Fred would figure out a way to win. I trust Fred.

He got a flagrant right before it for blatantly shoving a guy away from the play. That was at a time where the game was still in question. I didn't even know about the finger until I opened up the thread. I was more ****** about the boneheaded move to shove the guy. Combine those 2 together and it was a very forgettable moment for him
 
I hope the Big 12 gives Booker the same punishment that they gave Tom o Neil - that is, NOTHING. Something along the lines of "handled internally, and the big 12 will have no further comment on this"

Right. It was stupid. It hasn't been a habit. Don't have to execute him on one occurrence.
 
We won, all that matters. Really could've cost us though, while his physicality helps a lot needs to know when the time is right, finger was in the heat of the moment but is a no. Very happy with his play recently

I'm back. I've been running the stairs as punishment. We've handled it in-house. I am publicly apologizing to Panasonic and Mr. Caveman Kilicli. Let's move on.
 
I am glad you feel remorse. Fred could learn a few things about disciplining from you, who takes his own initiative. I tend to light a candle and burn my middle finger when I make that gesture. I recently had to amputate part of it as a result.
 
Not going to lie, I got a 15 yard late hit penalty on the opening kickoff against Okie State my Jr. year, I finished a block after the whistle. The OSU student section harrased me and I flipped them off, lucky for me it was before message boards were so popular.
