Honor in what? Is that what this is about? Then maybe we should have tried harder to keep the last coach who said "if winning ever gets in the way...I need to change professions". This business is about winning.....period. If you get a player who loses control of his emotions during the heat of the battle sometimes how is that losing honor? It's not like he raped a couple of college coeds, had the best defense lawyer money can buy, with CFH having his back. Or he got caught drunk with a couple of coeds from another school while his team is traveling on the bus, and his wife and kids are at home. If doing what he did is considering losing honor.....then maybe CFH would be better served to recruit a bunch of monks.
And as an aside.......don't tell me you would turn your nose up at the type of success super Roy has had just because his players can sometimes be horses a****.
I understand that sequence from Booker, it was stupid, but I can see how it could happen. Have to try and keep those emotions in check but WV was definitely doing some mugging inside.
I know it's not a Friday confessional, but I flipped someone off one time, but have never beat my children. I feel better, now.

Seriously?? You equate flipping the finger to beating a child. Flipping the bird is no different than swearing and I know there is plenty of swearing going on during a competitive game. It happens, it's calls having emotions and getting caught up in the game.
Slight correction...it was Regional television...
I wasn't able to watch it on TV...had to watch it on my damn computer and the video quality on ESPN3 was horrid the entire 2nd half...almost as bad as the Clones 2nd half...
If I were Fred I would suspend Book for one game. You cannot allow that to happen. Hopefully the team rallies around Gibson (and Ellerman) and Book comes back with a vegeance. Go Cyclones!!!
