Kansas Must Be Destroyed

To me it's pretty simple, if ISU plays it's game they will win. If not, and KU plays well they will win. At the end of the day, we'll be #2 in the nation either way and it's a loss that isn't going to haunt us long term. Just an opportunity to play a road game in another gym and see what happens.

I think a loss will haunt us if B12 title is our goal (it is).
It won't affect our NCAA seeding.

TCU had them by the throat and let them win. This is scary game.

I think the difference is that TJ isn't going to take his foot of the gas. TCU blew that game because they went into stall mode. That's not our style.

I would love to stop our slow starts. We haven't looked good early since Purdue game.

I do think the "slow starts" are methodical. TJ knows this team has a target on it's back and he's not gonna sell out for a fast start. We feel the game out and adjust and then constrict our opponent. Now do I think we could have started better some games? Yes, but sometimes the opponent is just making shots like in the Iowa game.

I would agree with that. I will say this though. In the new world of unbalanced schedules there will be years when the best team may not even finish 2nd in the conference. I do think fans need to kind of shift their mindset there and understand that ultimately we should care more about NCAA seeding.

Wish I could watch it but I have boycotted watching that cheating bastard and his annual bought and paid for teams for maybe a decade now. Even when they play ISU I won't watch them. It's maybe the only sports team, pro or college, that I actually hate because of their years of smug cheating. Maybe the only good thing about NIL is all of the schools have bag men now and it's not like underground Kansas mafia and the other elites playing by their own rules.

I watched because of the thrill that comes from beating cheaters!
On flagship ESPN, so I'm hoping for Fran, which always pisses off the KU fans!

I can see TJ using both Jefferson and Toure on him. Toure against Council most the other time. Should be some interesting matchups.

He's 6'5" and they usually play the 2 bigs (Flory and Tiller), so I doubt we see Jefferson on him unless KU goes small.

I think it'll primarily by Toure and Heise. I'm not sure anyone in any league could stop Peterson if he's healthy and on, but Heise is built in a lab to defend that kind of player.

Note that Nate has played 32 and 28 minutes the last two games off the bench. I expect that to continue. Since he comes in about 5 minutes into each half - he basically plays the last 15 minutes of each half
