Regarding Kane being carried off, great season at ISU but he would act like he was injured after taking it in the lane fairly often.

Literally the same exact thing. Low left ankle sprain, x rays negative, couldn't put any weight on it.

I’ll stand by the being shocked if he plays Sunday and will very happily eat crow if I’m wrong. I work in sports med and orthopedics, that ankle sprain was gnarly. Granted he is a pro level athlete and will get top tier medical care the next 48 hours.

Offensively, even a severely hobbled Jefferson might be better than other options. Defensively, it is almost a non starter. You can’t have poor/slow rotations with this defense and expect to be competitive. It would get picked apart.

Low ankle yes. Severity unknown. Not sure we ever knew Kanes severity though.

I heard he’ll be back and better than ever. Apparently in the offseason TJ added bionics expert Dr. Algernop Krieger to the medical staff. Dr. Krieger has successfully turned JJeff into a Cyborg

Looking forward, without him, I think we can still beat everyone in our region not named Michigan. Obviously it’s going to take a massive effort, but these guys will be playing with something to prove and also playing to give JJ an opportunity to get back on the floor.
