JJeff Injury Updates

Looking forward, without him, I think we can still beat everyone in our region not named Michigan. Obviously it’s going to take a massive effort, but these guys will be playing with something to prove and also playing to give JJ an opportunity to get back on the floor.
The tournament is a guards game and if Killyan and Nate continue their stellar play and Tamin rebounds from a subpar game today we’ll be ok. We all knew going into this tournament today was going to be the only “easy”game.

To be fair, Tamin hardly had a chance to get anything going with two fouls early in each half. By the time he could actually have an impact, it was no longer needed. Still got 3 steals in 17 minutes though!

If JJ did not get injured, ISU would not have scored 108 points. WTBS no one can consistently rebound besides JJ and Heise. I think Heise (6-5) becomes the starter, and Nelson (6-5) remains in the rotation. Moulder (6-9) might also be needed as a 4 if we aren’t getting rebounds. He is technically the leading 3 point shooter on the team.

Kentucky definitely beatable w/o JJ. Of course, would much prefer him to be on the floor, but Kentucky's length and athleticism inside would probably bother his game a bit. However, their guards are erratic and an our backcourt will probably be the deciding factor regardless.
