It’s Damn Windy!

Tell me about it. I was driving a sprinter van that's 8' tall on Hwy 20 today. I thought I was going to get blown off that bridge into the ravine near Iowa falls.

I drove most of the ave of the saints today. Dear sweet baby Jesus. Cars were everywhere.

380 right? North and South on 35 was pretty crazy but east and west on 20 was straight scary.

Heading down tomorrow and prepared to get blown around on I35 and then when I step out of my rig….

Nice day for the State Track Qualifying meets around the state. I have bad memories of running the 400 and coming around that last curve with my lungs burning and then hitting a stiff wind coming right at me. Made me swear off running the rest of my life.

I hated running so much I joined the swimming team.

I golfed my normal score. The wind hurt and it helped. Between three of us only one ball blew off a tee.

Went golfing this afternoon, and can confirm. Luckily the way the course was set up, it was a crosswind on most holes, but it still made for a tough day.

I wanted to get out with the fly rod too but it can get a little tricky with the wind...although if you can get the wind to your back you basically don't even have to cast.

My problems are not real problems haha.
