***ISU WNBA Thread***

“Her teammates let her down” CC fans need to eat some crow if fever pull this one out.

Only my second full game watching Lynx instead of just checking box score and Carlton tore it up in both. Do they have legit title chance if healthy?

Remember this was Minnesota without their best player. Full strength Minnesota probably would have got this one.

Probably, however the Fever team has been playing better, especially Boston. Will say it was weird hearing all of the cheering for Indiana down the stretch for a Lynx home game. A sellout for the Lynx is pretty cool even if it was a lot of Clark/Hawk fans.

Also sort of fun to see our Cyclone guarding the Hawkeye at times and vice versa. Bridget had a great game, hope she can carry that over for Team Canada. It's really fun to see her making a good go of playing pro.

Lynx got back on track and beat the Dream this afternoon. Carleton started and had 9 points.

Soares and the Wings take on Clark and the Fever on ESPN tonight. Dallas is in last place at 5-19 and Soares has not been playing much.

I watched most of the game, Soares did not play but it was a VERY entertaining and competitive back and forth game. C. Clark set an WNBA single game assist record with 19 assists. Fever's Boston had a great first half. Downside was my least fav player in the W, O. Sims, played a big role in the Wings win. Break time for the Olympics now. Rookies like Clark, 40 minutes tonight, gotta be gassed after playing straight though since last November.

Sims = me :puke:

I was at one game with Hallie Christofferson in (I think) 2014 when Baylor came to Hilton. Sims was one of the top players in the country back then scoring some crazy high points/game.

Dallas isn’t very good and need Sims and Ogunbawale to score a lot to have a shot to win most games. They are volume chuckers. Think they should have hung onto Ashley. The Fever seem to suck more against the bad teams.

The Fever couldn’t handle the Dallas size, and their transition D is terrible. Boston was great until foul trouble limited her minutes in the second half.
