Yikes. Just turned on Canada/France. France is up 38-20 after Canada only score 2 points in the 2nd. Yikes! Going to need a big comeback if they want to have a shot at a medal.

Edit: LurkingClone beat me by about 5 seconds....closer than the game. ;)

Canada are currently being outplayed by the French. Bridget with couple of good blocks but the entire team has been sloppy. No intensity, seemed disjointed. If BF were the HC, I can't imagine his fury at this team.
20-38 at HT.

Canada only scored 2 in the 2nd quarter and those points came from our Bridget. French scored 23 points in Q2. Insane

So, how did the second half comeback go? BC goes off for 30 and hits the game winner?

Edit: NVM, I just looked at the box. 25-10 on turnovers will sink you.

I followed the play by play a bit in the 2nd, and it seemed every Canada possession ended in an offensive foul. Maybe France had a drone at their last practice?

It was a super physical game - France played like Texas on steroids. 20,000 French fans contributed to the mayhem both with the officials and the Canadian team - Other than Q2 it was a very competitive game. Saw a report that said in the international game the defense gets the benefit of the doubt in international basketball - thus all of the offensive fouls.
