Tre hurt his knee before the season started and didn't play a game until January. That likely caused some of the struggles. Yet he still led the team in steals in conference games and had the lowest turnover rate.
Yes, he shot like crap and looked more promising as a freshman when playing less minutes.
He can bounceback and be a solid backup guard.

Sophomore and Covid year slump.

If Jackson shows up this fall in great shape, knuckles down on defense/can at least hold his own on that end despite his relatively small size and limited athleticism, and cans 40% of his threes...

He's going to be hard not to play. He could be the best shooter on the team.

He was 22/58 from three in the Big 12 as a freshman. That's 37.9%. If he can return to that form, then he's going to probably at least be one of our guards off the bench for next season.

I’ll buy this and would throw Grill in the same mold. Steady, not sexy..likely gets you some minutes, particularly early in the year in the first year of a new staff.

All of the above is true about Grill excepting he's not limited by his size or athleticism.

He has good size for a college 1-3 guy.

Grill is probably going to be the best athlete on the team next year save for Hunter and Enaruna.

Love Conditt as a person.... but as a player.... I'll believe it when I see it.

He was making some decent progress toward the end of the season this year, so hopefully he can continue to progress from there.

He’s good when used to his strengths and with a good PG. it’s too bad most of his career was wasted under Prohm.

I have my plane, hotel, Broadway, and Christmas Spectacular staring the Rockettes tickets and waiting on news for the NIT ticket. On Saturday, I’ll fly back to DSM in time for any kick-off time in Jack Trice.
Was in mid-town Manhattan for the Pinstripe Bowl on New Year's Eve. Effing incredible place to be at that time of the year. The center of the universe.

On 12-30, we landed and got to our hotel by 10:30am. We couldn't get to our room but could leave our travel gear. Walked 6 long blocks west to Times Square and experienced the world in one place. And then was attacked by a Muskieville Cyclone!!!! Thanks, Kevin.

We had time, grabbed some NY slices and headed to Central Park. So many sights that have been seen in so many tv shows/movies. I wanted to visit the John Lennon memorial, "Strawberry Fields". A world meeting place.

Asked the boss and boys to make a quick walk to the Dakota, home of the Lennon's. On the walk towards, I saw someone. I told everyone "don't stare."

Yoko. with Julian and others, were walking towards us. The boss said "good morning". Yoko said "Hello".

In NYC for 4 hours, saw Yoko and the bridge where Buddy the Elf machine gunned snowballs.

Then we got to get in our rooms,

The ISU athletics marketing dept is getting quite, well....,"creative" with their stat lines as of late. I know it's the offseason and you want to keep engagement up, and I absolutely love seeing Haliburton's face all over the NBA media, but 1 of 10 schools with award finalists? Excluding coach and executive of the year I believe there are only 10 individual awards anyway?

Tomorrow's headline: ISU one of only 2 schools with a player in the NBA with the last name Morris.
Alternate conference headline: Big12 the ONLY conference with former players in the NBA with the last name Morris.

It’s a play on what a number of media outlets have been doing for a while. Recent ones include lists of the all the schools that have ever had rookies of the year in both the NBA and NFL. “Retweet if your school has ever had a ROTY!”

Just off the top of my head (and iirc), PFF and Fox Sports are among the outlets tossing those types of things out.

I think this is a good move by the Big12. It's beneficial to coaching, player development and fans who love stat analysis.

6 of the 10 Big12 schools have been using their service, including KU, K-State, OU, OK-State, Baylor and TCU.

I might die of happiness if they make that data available publicly.

This will be cool. Does anyone know if any other major conferences will have this tech?
Mountain West is the other conference that is partnered with ShotTracker.

According to the Big12 statement, ShotTracker is currently being utilized by 63 men’s and women’s college basketball programs spanning 12 conferences.

Do the sensors tell us if the player is sweating or not? That's the critical information CF has been missing.
