Early observation: How the **** is Duke only 4th in AP poll? Compare Duke's schedule so far w/ Arizona & Wisconsin ... then consider all Duke's wins are by at least 10 points (including MSU and Stanford), and average margin of victory: 33 points. Yeah, Presbyterian is awful, by Duke won that by 79 points.

I wouldn't put too much stock in those votes. 4 voters in the Coaches Poll inexplicably put that iowa dumpster fire in their top 25.

In the Arkansas thread, I said I didn't think UA would reach top 25 prior to the ISU-Arkansas game ... helped to have a few teams drop out of top 25 that were ahead of it (OU, Nebraska, for example). SMU also dropped, but a win there should keep Hogs in the mix (assuming they win the 2 following that).

Yeah, agree at this point. Only 6 voters didn't between the two polls, but none of them chose Duke. (That, I could almost understand.)

Agree. Texas is ranked in an appropriate range. Not many teams have played multiple games against teams with a pulse on a neutral floor. Syracuse was ranked and Cal beat them handily, then UT dispensed with Iowa (considered a tournament team in preseason) and beat Cal, each by double digits.
