Iowa Dual Discussion

HWT has to be at least 183.

Others are limited by their certification weight class (i.e., someone who certified at 133 can't wrestle 125).
So a 141 can wrestle 174? (Very doubtful to ever happen but it legally could?). In HS they can only bounce up one weight so to wrestle 195 you couldn’t weigh less than 170.1 (my son did this once to help his team, wrestled 5 weight classes one season as he descended to 152).

They could.

Listened to the FRL preview and Stalemates. Neither are must-listens imo. Stalemates guys assume SL is wrestling, so that was interesting. Since we don’t know if SL is going, it’s not crazy to think of any of the weights going either way - except heavyweight. Carr and Coleman should win, but I wouldn’t be super surprised to see otherwise.

Not a conference dual, so there's no limit on the travel squad size. Dresser could take 20 guys and weigh in all 20, if he really wanted to.
It would be epic to have Carr sitting on the bench in a boot with someone else warming up only to have him rip off the warm up and trot onto the mat.

Hear me out. Carr to 174 for the dual and Gaitan to 165. We could go 3-3 wash if Carr is at 165. If Carr goes 174 couldn’t get major brands? Could Gaitan keep it close or even get the upset? Just dreaming out loud
