I agree we have some great breweries in DM and most of the time that’s what I’m grabbing also but sometimes I like trying something different. I always check dates and untapped ratings before buying new ones. There’s just so many good local options I have a hard time grabbing anything that isn’t super fresh that’s local.
Would prefer half acre, gonna have to give my buddy that works there ****.I see Pipeworks is also coming to Iowa. I've had a few decent ones from them, but probably nothing I would seek out. Just noticed that I had my first one 10 years ago this month.
I guess they’re banned too, along with Exile. Toppling Goliath and West O, it is!
They’re not, I believe Clark and Saboe are both Hawkeye fans. I think OP is just saying they’re neutral, I think backpocket also has cyclone beer(s) but don’t remember what they’re sponsoring with those. Confluence had Juicy Wiggle but again not sure if it’s sending any proceeds to ISU. If I recall barntown was doing some beers with CF a few years back. Maybe @brentblum has the history/master list. What's with TG? I'm not aware of any ISU support that they give?
I'm with you on Exile, though.
Didn’t even realize those were a thing. Their grapefruit summer beer was always great on a hot day but not sure if they still make it.Has anyone been able to get any of the Shiner Bock strawberry beer this year, they have the raspberry in stock but not the strawberry.
I just know they sponsor CF. Truthfully, a master list would be very helpful for those breweries that support ISU (or at least don’t contribute to Iowa)I think TG leadership are mostly Iowa fans but haven't ever made an NIL beer
Do they sponsor CF specifically?I just know they sponsor CF. Truthfully, a master list would be very helpful for those breweries that support ISU (or at least don’t contribute to Iowa)
Not to mention, I was told that one of the co-owners is Nate Kaeding. I happened to be at a bar, having a beer and a bite to eat, when a Big Grove sales rep came in and started talking to me about my ISU hat. He informed me of the ownership group. I could hardly contain my excitement.Just don't buy the Tigerhawk?
Anyone really expect a business based out of Iowa City to not support the Hawks?
