If money wasn't an issue....

Exactly. Who do you think they were tailgating with?

Feed me nasty brats and Bud Light? You get 4 downs.

A little ribeye with some Smithwicks to wash it down? "Whoops. I must have forgotten to advance the Dial-A-Down."

I assume you would put ISU on the 5 down plan every week? Maybe from time to time do an Iowa game and skip a few 3rd downs here and there to jump directly to 4th down? That would be fun.

I would make and sell cheap high-quality jerseys and post a link to my website all over various message boards. :jimlad:

I would make custom cabinetry. Nothing like getting high on varnish fumes!

This would be an awesome gig but I would provide much less Big 10 bias and actually not look like a total tool.

I would work a ski lift in Summit County somewhere or take a minimum wage job working in a movie/music store and just talk shop all day.

I worked at Copper for a season---it was worth it.

But I agree with what was stated before, the people left a little to be desired. That was part of the reason I moved back to Iowa and I'll be marrying the other reason this summer.

I know it sounds lame but sports statistician (preferably football).

Be one of those guys providing random data about the last time something happened, or someone's performance during a specific situation.

I've always liked numbers, and I think combining that with my fanatical obsession with sports would be cool.

I'd also probably buy a bus and rent it out for bachelorette parties. I wouldn't drive, but I would just hang out and make sure everyone got home ok.

Lame, really lame......

I like the brewer one, that would be a blast.

How about part time lifeguard at a resort with a pool and beach, hang around in the sun and water all day.

Such a nice guy.

All joking aside, this thread (along with a couple other recent events) got me thinking and I've decided that it's finally time to go to grad school to pursue a career that I think I might actually enjoy. Thanks to all of you who posted here...I can't wait to get started!

I would go back to school and earn two majors - one in Architectural Engineering and one in Construction Engineering. Then, after gaining relevant working experience at a major architecture firm, I would start my own architecture/interior design/construction contracting firm that specializes in skyscraper and/or ballpark design.

I'd also own an Aston Martin DBS.

What job would you like to do?

I always thought it would be cool to be

Motorcycle mechanic

Bar Owner

A tenured college professor, as long as I didn't have to teach the little pukes. I'd just sit in my office writing treatises, smoking my meerschaum in my corduroy jacket with the elbow patches and bang a different infatuated coed once or twice a day every day. Let my GA teach all the classes. Then I'd retire to the club for a glass or two of Guinness, then a sumptuous repast and wash it down with some port. Jolly good.

i would travel a lot.

renovate my current house just the way i want it.

donate my money to help those in need, real need. like ISU:jimlad:

hire some smart people and just people with good common sense to re-do 3/4ths of the government, and purpose it to the people.

I'd like to own/run an actual Cyclone sports bar in the Des Moines area without a single piece of hawkeye memorabilia to offend the eye.
