How many of you and your family are ISU alums?

I have a feeling that you don't want the truth, because deep down in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on that wall. You need me on that wall.

And I should be on that wall, but who knows.

My parent sent 5 kids to ISU. They had a kid at ISU from 1989 until 2005 at all times.

This kind of reminds me of my family. The middle one attended UNI, so we don't have quite the Iowa State streak like you did. But my parents had kids in school (not including college) from 1984 until 2010 with no breaks in that time period.

There is a wall at the Iowa State Fair that lists all ISU graduates. A cousin of mine found a hoard of us which got my great aunt thinking about how many family members went to Iowa State. So far we've confirmed that from 1986-2014 there has been a family member attending, many years with several of us in that timespan. Also a stretch from 1968-1984 where 10 or so family members were all there (my dad, mom, uncles). Go back further and my great great grandmother was one of the first females on campus. Just curious if your fam has a long ISU history. I am sure there are many others like my family. Kind of cool.

Me, my brother, my parents, 2 aunts an uncle, a cousin, my great uncle, my wife (grad school only), her grandparents,

My dad, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 sisters in law, 1 brother in law, wife, both kids and me. That is all.

Dad, me, wife, son, brother, brother's 1st wife (passed away at 37), brother's 2nd wife, Uncle, Aunt & Uncle and in two years my daugher and my brothers 2nd wife's son.

Just my Dad and I.

My Dad got his BA and Masters at Iowa, and his PhD from ISU and he hates Iowa more than anyone I know. He's a good man

I am the only one from my family. 9 aunts and uncles 1 17 grandchildren all hawks... 1 isu alumni me!
but married into a great cyclone family! CFOY 2011!!!

Okay Here I go. My Mom and Dad both attended ISU, an Uncle, myself, 2 brothers and 2 sisters, Sister's spouse, about 7-10 of my sister's spouses family, Both my daughters and their husbands, The husbands' brothers(4) and sister. I may have forgotten some, but we are pretty much an ISU family. All but 2 of us still live in Iowa.

Let's see.
Myself and 2 of 3 siblings.
Both my parents and 9 of 12 aunts/uncles.
1 grandparent.
3 first cousins and many other cousins beyond that.

My folks met at Iowa State and all three of their children met their spouses at Iowa State. 10 Iowa State degrees between the 8 of us.

Myself, my wife, all 5 of my siblings and two of their spouses. And some cousins. But 1 sister-in-law is a Hawk grad and 1 brother-in-law a J-Hawk. So that probably negates several of the State alums.

They used to do a cool thing at halftime of a FB game each year. Where the ISU "family of the year" or something similar would be honored and people like dahlia's family with a big multi-generational entourage would walk onto the field. I always thought that was special.

Just me. I'm the first in my family to even go to college let alone finish.

And it is just alumni living in the state. If you're in the state and not on there or not in the state and on there, my guess would be you haven't updated your information with the university or alumni association.
