There is a wall at the Iowa State Fair that lists all ISU graduates. A cousin of mine found a hoard of us which got my great aunt thinking about how many family members went to Iowa State. So far we've confirmed that from 1986-2014 there has been a family member attending, many years with several of us in that timespan. Also a stretch from 1968-1984 where 10 or so family members were all there (my dad, mom, uncles). Go back further and my great great grandmother was one of the first females on campus. Just curious if your fam has a long ISU history. I am sure there are many others like my family. Kind of cool.

My wife and I are the only ones in our immediate family, she has a cousin that went.

*edit: Forgot about a couple cousins on my mom's side, but I have like 40 there, so I tend to forget them.

I'm the only one that went to ISU. I think the closest would be a 3rd cousin.

My sister went to PT school at Iowa and I had two cousins go to Med School there.

Me & 3 siblings have undergrad degrees. My dad did post-grad work for several years in the 70s.

Myself, my uncle on my mom's side (1974) and my two 1st cousins on my dad's side (they're both in their 20s, but I don't remember what years). That's it for ISU grads. Only one Hawkeye that I'm aware and that's by marriage, so I can overlook it.

From 1976 to 1995, a member of my immediate family was at ISU. Myself, my three brothers and 2 of my sisters.

My other two sisters went to UNI, but they cheer for the good guys. Of the two UNI sisters, one of them now has her two daughters there.

I also have a number of cousins that are graduates.

Not to be picky, the wall lists all ISU graduates who still live in Iowa. I think they are celebrating ISU grads making a difference in Iowa. Four of my family are graduates - only the two of us who live here were listed. It is a pretty cool display.

I did find it interesting that someone that said they graduated from Iowa State was not listed on the board. Must have been a mistake. :skeptical:

If that's true then they're wrong. Half of my family listed haven't lived in Iowa in years.
