9 of us are going to the game! Of course, 1 of them is ISU (me), 4 for Houston, and rest there to tailgate, eat and drink inside. The place is going to be packed with ISU fans.
Will Houston have 15k fans there? Sounds like support is wavering for Fritz already

The ones calling for Fritz's removal are idiots or just venting. They played awful against Cincy but their QB is a turnover machine and coach needs time to recruit and coach. Campbell's 1st year results were bad too.
No disagreement at all. And was not trying to be a smart ass. Was genuinely curious based on what I’ve seen/read from other UH fans

I’m saying we shouldn’t as a fan base listen to how bad they think they may be, I’ve done that before as a fan and just assumed even as a Cyclone that we have 4-0 in the bag. This team has big potential
As a fan, I don't need to listen to Houston fans to know that they suck. If we lose, it will be one of the worst losses of the Campbell era. Of course we CAN lose but I could not be less worried about a road game. The guys will be ready.

I agree, I was only referencing the fan base not Campbell and the players. I immediately thought looking at those posts how I used to think as a fan…if they know their team sucks we’re good to go…the cyclone nut cup then comes into play for me honestly. Was never referring to the team in itself

Because it's sports and that's in general how life works. There's 60+ FBS games a week, s***'s bound to happen

So it's bound to happen to us too, but hopefully not this season.

Houston fans will show up to the game. I saw a Houston vs Navy gam in Annapolis and there were tons of Houston fans at the game.

Not "may be" - Cincinnati beat them 34-0. They ARE the worst team in the conference.

I agree, and someone needs to say it again, our attitude here towards this game doesn't affect anything.
I'm assuming 4-0 after this week. I plan to declare that it's all over, because of course, and I'll figure that we might as well play Houston because Alabama and Georgia are obviously ducking us..

I think it’s also different team styles match up better/worse against certain teams’ style of play. Sometimes guys are just playing on fire and sometimes you have a night where every bounce, every play just goes wrong.

Or like you said, sometimes, the $hit’$ bound to happen over 60 games a week.

…and for this reason, I generally stay away from large bets on college football games, cuz you just don’t know.

I don’t see this game as a must win- they’re all important when you’re trying to do something great.

This team has a legit chance to be 10-0 going into the Utah game. The next 7 games are all very winnable.

I think our team knows that and is going to bring it every Saturday and that all starts in Houston Saturday. LFG!!!
