Seeing tickets for $2, lol. I tried to get my co-worker to go to the game but he would rather stay away because he does not want to watch what is going to happen to his cougars.

I haven't seen this posted here yet, but alumni associations of Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin are hosting a BYOB tailgate in lot 4A at Wheeler & MLK. If you park in the lot it's about $30 and you can buy BBQ at the tailgate. See dfwcyclones.org for details. 10 min walk to the stadium. They typically have scholarship raffle tickets, DFW Alumni apparel, TVs, etc. As of about 3 weeks ago, they had pre-sold about 300 tickets, so I'd expect a really good sized crowd.

I see that Cyclone equipment drives to games, this one in TX. Are there any games in the US where they would have to fly their equipment? I would imagine, driving anywhere, is the way to go, cheapest, but not cheap.

That leads me to the players and coaches. Where is the cutoff line between a bus, and flying? For the upcoming game in Houston, did they bus or fly?

Inquiring minds.

None of my UofH fans at work even know this game is happening. They have already shifted to basketball.
Well, they all know now, because I'm annoying the **** out of them.....
Houston needs to get it together. I realize they've got other teams, pro teams, etc., but they are in the Big 12 now.

I hope their fandom for the FB program grows.

Equipment is bus, always. At Iowa, Kansas, and Kansas state players and staff bus. Everywhere else chartered plane.

They are the anti-thesis of a Texas college. They are actually a bb school 1st. Phi-slamma-jamma a long time ago.

I'm fairly certain that the players/staff went to KState last year by chartered plane. @brentblum can confirm that the plane was stuck due to the airport running out of deicer and there were a bunch of unimpressed passengers.

I think you are correct. Maybe that was due to the weather situation? Or maybe they only bus to Iowa City and Lawerence? Now I’m trying to remember what a friend who use to work for the program told me haha.
