Hole in 1

i have never hit a hole in one but i have hit a guy. yes i know this is a hedberg joke but it also is true for me, and no it was not more satisfying.

Hitting a moving human >>> hitting into a stationary hole :smile:

Closest I came was in Schleswig, IA. I was teed up on hole 1, shanked it and hit the flag on hole 7, I believe it ended up about 3-4 ft from the hole. :sad:

Great, that should free up some time for you. I suggest you spend that newly found free time with loved ones, taking a walk, jotting down thoughts and ideas you've had or on Google and search sarcasm and get back to me shooter.

I rarely golf (and I'm mostly terrible) — and only did it with any frequency more than 20 years ago — never got a hole-in-one.

Closest may have been last year — got maybe 3 feet on a par 3.

I managed a birdie. Typically, that situation would have somehow eroded into a 4-putt disaster. :skeptical:

In high school we used to make the freshman go retrieve the shags and would hit at them, I nailed one guy with my PW. Hole 4 at Boone G&CC I dented the cup on the fly but no dunk. Never had a golf hole in one, Hit the flag many times on the fly. Frisbee golf I've had 2, one in Ames and one in Omaha. I hate you guys who have got one in real golf!

Don't be discouraged if you haven't got one yet. It took me almost 50 years to get my first, 15 for my second but I've got one each of the last two years. No. 8 at TCI this year.

Congrats! I have been playing regularly since I was 4 years old (I'm 33 now) and still don't have one. I have had the mispleasure of witnessing two friends that rarely play get one though, including one on his first time ever playing, rolled through the sand trap, hit a rake, popped up and went in (4 wood on a 140 yard hole). I have probably hit the pin or hole a dozen times and even have a double eagle (holed out from 215 on a par 5), but no hole in one...

PW 100 yards over water, spun it back and a little to the right for the ace.

I have 8 disc golf hole in ones, but that is 1000 times easier.
