Decent, but where are the Busch Light stands

If Jamie was interested in making real improvements, he’d throw a Busch stand right outside the student section and take $.10 off of the price of beer for every three pointer made. Tom Eades would have **** dripping down his leg before Prohm even takes his jacket off.

Please bring back COKE!

I think the renovations look GREAT! It definitely adds more room, softens the look with the lighting, but doesn't really change the look/shape of Hilton... only enhances it!

Just Coke. Pepsi and Captain just doesn't do it for me.

I hope they never add suites to Hilton. We have a lot of silly complaints about things ruining the atmosphere now... That would actually hurt atmosphere hiding people away in boxes.

I hope we do- the inner concourse has great potential to get us to 15 k capacity and give us fantastic revenue. This can help us pay coaches. Such seating can also take corporate types that currently sit behind the bench or across from the bench and puts them off of the floor thus making space for more engaged fans to be seated and participate in the games. Lastly, if done well, such seating could actually increase arena noise if we use the correct materials when building the project.

Yeah, iirc that was more of a leath project, im not sure the AD would have done that (and lost the parking) had it had a choice.

Dr. Leath and his wife made the SEZ landscaping project their pet project before skipping town. The project quickly exceeded the budget and has gone thru multiple rounds of scale down to try and deliver it on budget while using the work that has currently been done

^^^ This x1000!!

We need suites to offset the lost income from season ticket holders who pay far too little for top seats in the lower levels.

Also get rid of 2 balcony sections of students

I know there was talks at the beginning of the season to get rid of the student section in the upper deck entirely, but that all depended on how the attendance was for this year.

Also another note: there will be a new physical court at Hilton either next season or the season after that. Not sure if they are changing the paint scheme or not, but something to do with them not being able to sand it down any further to keep it within code.

Overall I love the idea of moving concession areas to the exterior concourse. However, don't like the look of two cement boxes being added to the North and South sides. First it would be nice if glass or another building material could be used for the exterior walls. Also it might look better if the concession build-out wrapped around the entire North/South sides.

From a concession standpoint, I wonder if they would consider a "self-help" concept for fans to purchase food. IMO it would be quicker if fans dispensed their own fountain drink or grab a sport drink/water bottle. If Casey/Kum & Go can make it work- I would think a sport facility could.

I can already see a sticky Mt Dew floor and some bozo overflowing all the ice, emptying the extra ice out of the surge bin.

They have something like that at Busch Stadium. Not sure it would work well at a basketball arena though.

How old is the current court?

I hope they sell chunks of it. I would have loved to have had a piece of the one before this court that a lot of people have.
I believe they typically donate old courts to youth clubs or something similar to that. They could possibly sell chunks of it as well. They would probably have to chop the panels up pretty good, as each of them weighs around 150-200 lbs.

I know they cut up one of the older ones.
I don't know where the one in Johnnys came from. Maybe the practice facility?

Iowa auctioned theirs last time. I believe Fran got outbid by one of our former players.

So how will they widen the concourse? Will Hilton be bigger or can it be done within?

I assume they are going to add a shorter (height) walkway addition around Hilton to expand the concourse, while keeping to upper looks of Hilton alone
