I was there, and I was appalled.Or cap guns (anyone old enough around here to get that?)
Oh, not the wonens game page, sorry folks.
Cyclone Alley (student section) usually tacks on "you suck!" after the claps.
Well, you had MY attention...Oh, not the wonens game page, sorry folks.
I’ll take Steve Stipanovich for $200 Alex.Or cap guns (anyone old enough around here to get that?)

Pretty sure he was referring to Holgerson...Dana House always had the best seats reserved back in the old Armory days.
Still the best seats I've ever had at an ISU game. Two rows behind the opposing bench.

I still remember the ISU student who won 25 yards (or some number don't remember the exact amount) of concrete in the shoot 5 for 5. That's something every college student can use.And of course ...Beennnsssoonnn Mootttooorrrss!
Steve Stipanovich — who was actually a pretty good player.Or cap guns (anyone old enough around here to get that?)
Yeah, I'm surprised that didn't end up on the front door of Beardshear. Back in the day when everyone had to stand in endless Beardshear lines to register for their classes it was the most hated place on campus.I still remember the ISU student who won 25 yards (or some number don't remember the exact amount) of concrete in the shoot 5 for 5. That's something every college student can use.
I started at ISU in first half of the Orr era. The tradition then was just the claps and dead silence before and after. It had to be eerie for the visiting players. That tradition pre-dates Cyclone Alley by quite a bit. Based on how established it was my freshman year (shortly after students moved in via covered wagon), I’m confident in saying it goes back at least to the Floyd era.
If you're struggling with the five claps during introductions, not even going to touch the pep band during free throws.Im new to basketball games and haven’t picked up on some of the crowd traditions quite yet. Can someone tell me during the opposing team’s introductions what the clapping thing is. Is it like 5 claps or something. I havent picked up on it yet.
