Hilton Noob Question

Yeah, I'm surprised that didn't end up on the front door of Beardshear. Back in the day when everyone had to stand in endless Beardshear lines to register for their classes it was the most hated place on campus.
Okay, we aren't that far apart. I never stood in line. Always had to call on the phone, and the first class I would call would set me schedule for everything; and it was.........................always full so it was scrambling to find other times.

Now they look ahead of time and can see if they are full or not and how many seats are left. It even will give them a diagram of how the classes fit together. They do need better math though since the classes have 15 minutes between them now.

Yeah, it was lines in Beardshear when I started and they introduced the phone registration before I was done (5 year plan). That phone thing was so clunky by today's standards, but it was light years better than the endless Beardshear lines. At least you could wait in tele line at home.

The “left right left right” thing when people foul out is hilarious. Has any opposing player ever tried to mess with us on that one like by jumping or fake sitting?

I still remember the ISU student who won 25 yards (or some number don't remember the exact amount) of concrete in the shoot 5 for 5. That's something every college student can use.

We are always amused that they have contests for college students to win riding lawn mowers. How many college students need/want a riding lawn mower? They probably have a cash-out option, but it seems like they should pick contestants from the older home-owners for that particular contest.

I think WBB is the only sport where they'd have to make changes to avoid Sundays for BYU, right?

The Big 12 hasn't had Sunday MBB or VB games for forever.

Constantly. I can remember someone shuffling their feet on their way to the bench to try and screw us up

They nearly blew up March madness a few years back because they were put in a bracket where their second round game would have been on a Sunday. Maybe they've mellowed, but I'm still wary.
And I really don't care if it's "only" WBB. If they choose to participate in a secular activity, their religious rules should not be imposed on the rest of the institutions. And I'll drop it now, before I cave this thread. :)

I remember a couple of players that wandered around the end of the bench for a minute before sitting down to mess with the crowd chanting.

Remember people, if you want to feel better about yourself yelling at people you can use these:

Goose Duck! = You Suck!
Four Ships = ********

Have to keep the cadence the same but technically you are just yelling nonsense and not something inappropriate.
