Not exactly sure.
Match 2012, there was a DQ. No slam or anything. It looked like equipment or something. Any idea what it was?

What does anyone know about Mac Crosson of Indianola? 138 pound Sophomore.
I have heard his name before, but know nothing about him. Tight with Downey and UNI???

Most of the time when Indianola had a good wrestling recruit, they would transfer to SEP, the Runyon brothers used to go to Indy before SEP I believe

Indianola is typically solid but few D1 recruits, a few every year will go on to wrestle at Coe, Simpson, Central, etc. Runyons moved to SEP summer before the older one’s (Lance) junior season.
Mac won Fargo in freestyle in 2022. Placed there in 23. Huge growth spurt between last season and now, 113 (3rd place) to 138. Wrestles at US Open Freestyle and other national-level events with Sebolt. Should be a 4x placer, 2-3x champ wouldn’t surprise me. Would be a good get with some development time in the room. Also has a little brother in middle school who should be good in HS.

(From Indy, still follow their wrestling from out of state)

Todd Becker was a state champ for bosco and wrestled at ISU. Jason Knipp was also from Bosco, he was the starter in 2006 at 149. There haven't been many though.
Kinda like before Schwab we got a decent amount of Osage kids, none that I remember being all that good, but still.

I think Carter Pearson could be the hidden gem of this class- reminds me a bit of the Frost brothers when they were seniors in high school. Really technically sound, solid in every position, from everything I've heard he's a hard worker and a smart kid. Excited to see how he grows next year in Ames

Pearson, Koester, Castillo & Helgeson all to semis. Helegson won 4-1 SV. Others all by pin in quarters.

Is Eddie Woody from SEP a freshman? He’s long for 106 and has skill. Could develop into a nice prospect
