Hello ISU from an RU fan

Howdy everyone from another RU fan. For those making it out to NYC for the game,as said above hit us up for suggestions and advice.

So is it true that they're gonna have Snooki sing the National Anthem for the game?

And he means this literally. Every time we went back for another round they told us they were out of another variety of Leinie's.

Awesome time - what I can remember of it...

Proud to say I did my part contributing to the drought. I think it was a draught drought.

Do you know anything about the area of Yonkers? We just booked a room at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Yonkers. Sounds like they have a complimentary shuttle to the train station which would intersect with the 4 subway line, so reasonable transportation. The hotel got good user reviews on hotels.com.
The Hampton Inn is in the Northwest section of Yonkers in a corporate park area so not much close by to see. The northern part of Yonkers is more suburban in make up and the city has been revitalizing the waterfront along the Hudson. The Metro North Line is the train that takes you into the city and is one of the main methods for people in Westchester County to commute to the City.

RU Fans: any advice on those driving to the stadium (with 2 young kids)?, won't be tailgating much. Safety, Dos and Don'ts? where not to park, etc. Parking garage costs. Areas to avoid, etc.

We should probably point out that the frequently used acronym DB does not always stand for defensive back. If unsure  , decipher by context while remembering that a DB can indeed also be a DB.

which RU fan is going to let me stay at there house for free?

times are tough here

No problem youse guys are welcome to stay at my house.
Would have to leave my place a little earlier to make game then if you stayed in NYC or in Jersey , but far cheaper (free except for the Hoppy Scarlet Ale you would be giving me).
Only drawback is the distance ( why you'd have to leave early) to Yankee Stadium.
I live in Arizona now , so not a walk in Central Park to get to the Stadium :biglaugh:

Wishing all youse Cyclones have a great time and deferentially take the subway, at least one time ,while in New York City.

That map is hillarious.

Thanks to your site, and wikipedia, I now know what a Piney is and what a Jersey Devil is.

FYI

Most of us realize new Jersey is much more than orange doosh bags and mobsters.

Of course, you guys will have to take our word for it that we are not all hick farmers.

This is good. I have a friend that moved out to New Jersey a year or so ago. Lives in Cherry Hill, so I assume he's near a bunch of country clubs.
