All the talk about The Office reminds me how I recently rewatched Age of Ultron and I could not get Robert California out of my head every time Ultron said anything. It gave an interesting twist to the movie.

Most people I talk to, and myself included, feel like it’s just not worth watching after the seventh season. Michael Scott was so integral and it just felt like they forced too many new characters (and frankly a lot of them were straight up annoying/didn’t work with the center of the show) and storyline twists.
Andy Bernard becoming a complete tool, Jim and Pam contemplating an affair with a boom man and marriage struggles? Deangelo, Gabe, Nellie, and Robert California. All of the above just didn’t fit.
Try watching The Big Short without picturing Steve Carrell and the goofy accent he speaks in as Michael Scott. All the talk about The Office reminds me how I recently rewatched Age of Ultron and I could not get Robert California out of my head every time Ultron said anything. Yeah, you know they're nearing the end when they add a little kid. Oliver on the Brady Bunch comes to mind...there's a bunch of others.Scooby do sucked when scrappy was brought on.
Yeah that kid blew.Yeah, you know they're nearing the end when they add a little kid. Oliver on the Brady Bunch comes to mind...there's a bunch of others.
Dallas is my favorite old school network TV drama. The first season (1978 mini series) and up until "Who shot JR" (at the end of the third season in 1980) is just 24 karat solid gold. And Larry Hagman's J.R. Ewing is possibly the greatest TV villain ever. That said, their replacements all kinda sucked. Don't have time to name them all but the new Digger Barnes, Jock Ewing, Jenna Wade, etc. ... none of them were better.First thing that jumped to mind for me was when Miss Ellie on Dallas, who had been played by Barbara Bel Geddes for several seasons, was replaced by Donna Reed for a season. I believe the reason was that Geddes had bypass surgery. While Reed was certainly a capable actor, she just wasn't a good fit for the role. They might have been better off writing her character out of the show entirely for a year. Geddes did return to the role the next season.
I find Festus one of the most annoying characters ever. Sorry, just the way he comes across with that weird accent always grated on me.What about Gunsmoke? Who was better, Chester or Festus? I personally liked Festus.
My Three Sons for one. The oldest kid, Mike, played by Tim Considine left the show (got married is how they wrote him out) and they inserted Ernie, who was adopted. Show was still about the same level but significantly different.Yeah, you know they're nearing the end when they add a little kid. Oliver on the Brady Bunch comes to mind...there's a bunch of others.
I couldn’t even get through 10 minutes of the first episode in season six.House of Cards after the whole Kevin Spacey removal.
I understand the move but that garbage they put out in that final season was something to behold. I struggled to finish it. Though you could argue it was getting bad after Season 3. I thought they had a great premise leading into Season 5 and blundered that. Then between Season 5 and 6 the Spacey crap happened and all hope was lost.
