Friday OT - Binge Entertainment

Ive completed binge watching of Arrow and NCIS LA(Not as good as the original). Im doing one of Friends right now(season 8).

We binge watch most shows. And then catch up in time to watch the last two or three seasons. It's just how it works out.

So . . . adios to The Middle. Given our track record it has two more seasons, tops :jimlad:

Just as a head's up - if anyone wants to do Friday OT threads for a while, I'd be really appreciative. I definitely won't do next week, and may be spotty for a while after.

Not saying I'd come up with any topics, but would we just wing it? It could mean having five different Friday OTs -- but pitching them through you would take up more time than you already do, I'm guessing.

Absolutely just wing it! I get PMs with great ideas from posters a lot, so definitely feel free to just post 'em! I probably won't be on CF even a little next week, and will be hit-or-miss for a while after.

I don't know if I would call it binging but I started watching Game of Thrones a few months ago. I have one more episode left to be finished with season 4.
I did watch 5 episodes of season 3 in one weekend so that was kind of a binge. I also went back and watched the first 3 episodes to refresh my memory of who some of these people are. The scope of the show is so large.

I did Freaks and Geeks this summer. But can you really call it a binge when it was cancelled after just one season? (Which is a shame because the show was amazing).

Parks and Rec was almost a casualty. It took the writers and cast almost a full two seasons to really get it right. Season one borders on awful. You could see the potential, though.

I agree on Season 1, but they hit the ground running in 2. By the end of 4 it started getting way too cute and happy. Seasons 2,3 and most of 4 are the pinnacle. It's still a well written show, but everything got too unrealistically functional in season 5 and I've kind of stopped keeping track.

Breaking Bad
Walking Dead
Dexter
House of Cards
Psych
Monk (USA used to do marathons all the time)
Orange is the New Black

Tried to get hooked on Mad Men, but just wasn't into it. Same with Weeds.

My standby on a lazy weekend is the Matrix trilogy.

Monk and Criminal Minds are two shows I could watch episode after episode
