The layers in that video are fantastic if you know your hiphop.
Not a "real video" per se but I was a big fan of the Letterman musical guests. Loved this performance:
This was a great video (Directed by David Fincher) with all of the insanely popular supermodels of the era.

I like videos that use the medium for things other than just showing the stars...give me some cool effects. I could watch Ok Go! videos all day....I only put three of them below but there are more if you want to find them.
And I hope you are going this summer when they are in Cedar Rapids....................
This was big when I was 5 or 6. As a kid it scared the crap out me. As adult it doesn't and I can enjoy it for the great choreography and Vincent Price talking parts.
I don't really have a favorite music video, never really watch them. But this one makes me laugh.
Madonna's "Vogue". It's beautifully filmed in black and white, crisp editing, very stylish. Always a joy to watch, even 32 years later.
