Flipping the Page...Texas Predictions

I think this is when we are ranked. A win over KSU would put us over.

Certainly doable but we would need to win five in a row. Other than KSU, the other four games are against the four worst teams in the conference. The KSU game should be rocking.

Next four games:

Texas at home
West Virginia at home
TCU on the road
Texas Tech on the road

I would honestly be disappointed with 3-1 out of the Cyclones in that stretch. Those have to be 4-0. Then we get K-State at Hilton, and a win would pretty likely mean Top 25 going into a game at Oklahoma State.

Are you sure? They said on the broadcast last night he would be back for the ISU game. Is that our game against them in Feb then? If so, my bad.

Kabongo's first game back will be Feb. 13 when ISU goes to Austin to play Texas

ISU 82 Texas 72

I think the team will respond well. They don't want to start 0-2 in conference, and I think Fred will be able to let them get KU behind them and move on.

Texas has had 2 overtime losses to start conference.....one at home, one on the road. They did not look very impressive last nigh in the 2nd half.....but I thought they looked good against Baylor on the road. They have played some good competition, but have been pretty inconsistent. The best team they beat was North Carolina, and it is debatable how good the Tar Heels are this year. They shoot less than 30 percent from 3 point range, and only about 40 percent overall.

I don't know why, but I'm not near as comfortable with the Texas game as I should be after last night. Texas has played some good competition this year, and they have looked awful at times in doing it. I hope ISU responds positively to last night, but I see a close game coming Saturday.

ISU- 71
$$$- 68

Not worried at all. I've seen Texas a lot this year and they can't score (have only scored over 70 points five times this year) and can't rebound (WVU had 16+ offensive rebounds against them last night). Those things added to ISU still being the only team in the country to score 70+ in every game, the game is in Ames, we win.

I'm nervous AS HELL. We are better and should win but I have a feeling that this will be our first sub 70 pt. game while doing so.

Rolling them wouldn't surprise me though.

This is ironic coming from the "Texas has no chance" man himself
