I don't know why, but I'm not near as comfortable with the Texas game as I should be after last night. Texas has played some good competition this year, and they have looked awful at times in doing it. I hope ISU responds positively to last night, but I see a close game coming Saturday.

I doubt it. With how weak the Big 12 is, we would need to win the next 3 to 4 to be ranked.

Game is never in doubt. Texas is bad right now. If this was a young team, I'd be worried about a letdown but there are too many veterans on this team to let that happen.

I doubt it. With how weak the Big 12 is, we would need to win the next 3 to 4 to be ranked.

We might have a shot at being ranked in the January 21st poll if we are 13-4 (3-1) at that point. That would require beating Texas and West Virginia at home, and TCU on the road.

If not then, if we also beat Texas Tech on the road and Kansas State at home in the next two games and are 15-4 (5-1), we will be ranked in the January 28th poll.

I think this is when we are ranked. A win over KSU would put us over.
