Final Four

Just trying to understand. If you are standing with the ball and jump while putting it to the floor to dribble, it’s a travel?

Yes because technically that is like two steps and a travel. Why if you start dribbling and you take a step and have your second foot leave the floor before you start the act of dribbling , it’s a travel.

Nope. Just trying to understand how it’s consistent with what we all know is traveling.
Because technically it’s like taking two steps. When you dribble the act has to start before the second step is taken, aka second foot comes off the ground.

Doesn’t Houston lose a decent amount of talent too for next year?
They'll just buy more. No worries if yourre a Houston fan. And let's face it, Kelvin Sampson can flat out coach. Gotta think they will.be the favorites to win the Big 12 next year regardless. This guy or that guy may be leaving but Sampson isn't

Tough, hard fought game. Too bad for Houston. sorry for B12. Houston carried our banner well.

SEC (and B1G ) still sucks. Money can buy a championship, probably more often than not. Not great.

Go Big12!!!

Why is that a travel, though?
Never dribbled. Put the ball down while in the air. He just needs to dribble it instead of hold it.
Once you leave your feet it's pass or shoot you cannot try to dribble that is the rule

Because technically it’s like taking two steps. When you dribble the act has to start before the second step is taken, aka second foot comes off the ground.
Understood. What If you are near the basket, shoot, completely missing the rim and backboard, but you catch your "rebound" on the other side?

Im just being silly now. Thanks for helping me understand how it’s consistent.

I don't know if Houston had a productive offensive flow any time during the final 10 minutes.
They are a bit like ISU they needed turnovers. Much of the 2nd have was taking the ball out of bounds cuz Florida had a conga line to the charity stripe.

Florida could set their D at that point. And it's a solid D when set up

Honestly, it’s supposed to be a travel, but they never call it because they just think it’s a crappy shot, lol.
