Favorite World City

1. Los Angeles area
2. Paris
3. Amsterdam
4. Cologne, Germany (the Dom Cathedral alone puts it on this list)
5. Den Bosch ('s-Hertogenbosch), Netherlands
6. Nijmegen, Netherlands (was there during their walking festival, imagine old Veishea on steriods and a week long)

Los Angeles area is still tops for the best food, drink (beats Paris) and overall things to do.

I have only been to Mexico (DUMP), and Jamaica, so I will go with Negril Jamaica. But not for the city, just for the beach.

Favorite:
Rome
Amsterdam

Least Favorite:
Baghdad

1. Rome on a Sunday Night is very romantic and their ancient sites can be walked to with ease.

2. Any town on the Greek Isles - majestic.

3. Oslo, Norway in the summer.

4. Edinburgh, Scotland for a stroll.

Rome's great - lived there; but Sienna, Italy is in my heart, as well as Como, Italy. My two favorite places in the world.
Loved Barcelona...
Paris was, eh...
Montreal is a blast, beautiful city too. I've heard Vancouver is the best in Canada though.
Dominican Republic was beautiful
lots of other little places have been fun

1. London - next to New York and LA one of the most diverse cities in the world. It makes for a great cultural experience. Surprisingly the best true Chinese food I've ever had was here. Amazing transportation system. Tons of exciting things happening here especially in anticipation of the 2012 olympics.

2. Munich - Only went for an a few days but the architecture and scenery were beautiful. (If you know what I mean)

least favorite:

1. Paris - dirty streets and the people were disgusting. I'll admit I'm a bit biased though. * I saw a dog poop on the subway and the subway system is freaking confusing! (I guess it could be because it's in French)

Get on a plane, go on a trip BEFORE kids!

Kids definitely make everything tougher. Actually, though, if you didn't travel in college you missed out on the absolute best chance. I haven't come close to getting out of the country since undergrad. Luckily I did pretty well prior to that. Kudos to those that are actually able to pick up and MOVE to some of these places. I'm not positive I would want to live there but I do know that I never had the guts to seriously try!

Only place I've been to out of the States is Cancun, and other than the sun and sand and being able to relax with my husband, I probably like the midwest US better. But I'd love to do some traveling to other places sometime.

The subway was pretty Ghetto and took some getting used to but I had it down by the end of the weekend. Doesn't help that I'd already been to London and rode "the Tube".

The most ghetto subway was in Rome though...

Im disappointed in the lack of South American travelers here so I'm throwin out my favorite: Rio de Janeiro...One of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to

I have never left the good old USA. If I did though I would really like to visit Dublin or Rome. Probably be a while before that happens though.
