I didn't pay much attention to other Big12 teams, but a bit scary if this is portal's impact on roster continuity.
This helps to reflect that we as Iowa State fans have kind of been in a bubble as far as losing production from year-to-year in this new era. Even in an offseason where Iowa State loses its top 3 scorers, we are still returning a far more significant part of our roster than most other teams.
College sports is a crazy place right now.
Would be hard to account for recruiting advantages some schools may have, and fairly ranking strength of schedules of each school, but would be interesting to know how much returning production translates to win percentage
Wow, I never realized BRE was the first player at ISU to play in two Sweet 16s.
First under TJ, anyway.
Stevie Johnson played in both Sweet 16s against UCLA (1997 and 2000).
Sounds about right. We have 4 players back that played a lot: Buchanan, Pleta, Toure and Batemon.
I was coming here to say the same thing. Somethings up. It’d be so on brand for our best transfer to have had a major injury (IE Awls)
Assuming there’s going to be a basketball media availability coming up soon. Hopefully we hear something regarding Singleton and it’s nothing serious
