Seems like he was (or 6th/7th).Was Hurl Beechum a 6th man?
Did he start (at least some) as a senior?

No idea how he would curl around a screen at 100 mph and then get squared up and nail it over and over, but he had a knack for it. So cool to watchMcGee is the only Iowa State player where I thought the ball was going in every time he shot. He led the NCAA in 3p % while shooting fall all way 23 footers. One of my all time favorites.
Hope he gets more opportunity to shoot 3s this year - and hit them - so he can be a 3 and D asset like Chris Babb was for Fred.I want the Shawn Bankhead award to go to Nate Heise this year- Love that kid!
He shot it like he was shooting at a milk crate nailed to a telephone pole back home in Stringtown.McGee is the only Iowa State player where I thought the ball was going in every time he shot. He led the NCAA in 3p % while shooting fall all way 23 footers. One of my all time favorites.
Stevie is one of my favorite players but I wouldn't call him a 6th man as he only came off the bench 17 out of almost 100 games he played his final 3 years at Iowa State.Stevie Johnson
Tyrus McGee... not even close IMO. Greatest shooting stroke I've ever seen. But you couldn't sleep on his sheer athleticism either, as seen below...
I would say so. He only started 7 of 36 games played that year but averaged 20.3 minutes. Was Naz considered 6th man in 2013-14?
That's what I thought. He could be a candidate, although his numbers were similar to Matt Thomas that season. Doesn't approach CuJo territory for sure.I would say so. He only started 7 of 36 games played that year but averaged 20.3 minutes.
I'm pretty sure he started the entire 99-00 year.Stevie Johnson
McGee is second but Curtis Jones is waaaaaay better than any 6th man we’ve ever had imoMcGee
Curt might be our best player.McGee is second but Curtis Jones is waaaaaay better than any 6th man we’ve ever had imo
Forgot about CarrMcGee will be an obvious one.
How about Tasheed Carr during that run we made in '04-'05?
Hogue started I think every game both seasons."We dont take many bad threes, but when we do, Tyrus usually makes them"

I feel like we are forgetting a bunch of guys. Did Houge start or come off bench?
