I can't wait to play them in Ames in 2017

That's how I feel.

It would be one thing if they were blowing us out in Manhattan and neutral sites, but how many years in a row has it been razor close now? Surely we'd have at least one win in there if one of the games is in Ames. We should technically have them in Ames in '12 and '13 to even it out.

It all comes down to how well the offense is doing. In the first quarter the offense was clicking and it allowed the defense to rest and stay fresh. In the second quarter the offense was not clicking and the defense got worn out. ISU's Dline is undersized, especially when compared to the K-State OLine. Also, ISU's defense continually having to tackle a man who is 6'5" and when he falls down gains a minimum of 3 yards due to his height.

Gotta hand it to the BTN, their announcers and production quality have surpassed the quality of Fox Sports net in just a few short years.

Even though ISU playing much better against a more elite opponent, I'd take the hoops broadcast today over this one.
You would think the football announcers were K-State grads.

wrong....................wrong...................& wrong again...................

well not that wrong... id say a push is effective if it collapses the closes the pocket. our push is just pushing the pocket behind the line of scrimmage, kstate doesnt mind that as they are running their read off the tackles, and nose, not the dend. the key to a good push is getting the oline back on their heels, and getting at least one defensive guy on the other side of them.. we get push but still have huge lanes to run through.

Uh...yeah...

Texas A&M @ Kansas State was not the best game in the Big 12 this year.

This. A 9-2 team beats a 6-6 team that they're supposed to beat and they get the Big 12 game of the year yet a 6-5 team beats a 10-1 (undefeated at the time) #2 team in 2OT and is overlooked. Makes no sense.

We MUST get a stop here after the half. If KSU goes down and scores a TD to make it 24-13, we could be in trouble. I don't think we'll quit obviously, look at the OSU game when we were down 17 pts in the 3rd quarter. But we were at home in that game.

This game is on the road, it's cold and wet, and if we get down by 11 it might be hard to stay in the game mentally. Get a stop and make them punt it away, and all of the sudden you feel like you've got life again.

This game is going to come down to defensive making plays-- be a three and outs or turnovers.

I just hope our team can get a stop in the second half to start, we really need to stop Klein somehow

Anybody been keeping track of how many times the announcers have called Barnett "Bennett"? I can think of probably 5 times I've heard it, but haven't actually been tracking it. Over/under for the second half?

Who cares? Just turn the volume down if you don't like the announcers. We're ISU for crying out loud. We should be used to this by now?

I just hope we play better. I couldn't care less if the announcers like us or not?

I also think Barnett has to be more aggressive running. He did a great job of that his first few starts and it doesn't seem like he's looking to run anymore.

Very even game so far.. here's hoping we get back to some successful running, and the defense gets a couple stops.
