Amazing. They pushed out a network change and locked themselves out and now they need physical access to the servers to update them but there’s not enough employees at the Facebook data centers to do them all. Plus the data center monkeys can’t authenticate anyway to change thelol.

Also they are idiots for not having a OOB network in case **** hit the fan like this.

I feel bad for the individuals on the incident team but this is hilarious and shows even the big guys can screw up

...and it's happening at one of the world's largest Facebook data centers right here in good old Altoona, Iowa. I should hop over there and give an onsite report for CF.

That might be the funniest thing I've seen in a while. Guarantee you that nobody has the physical key to get in (or the key is probably locked inside the building). Probably have to call the fire department to come unlock the knox box to get them back into the building.

I’d tell you you’re incorrect. Not even close to the same thing…

I’ll grant you there are some similarities, but the anonymity and the fact that people aren’t posting mundane pics of their meals takes it way out of the realm of Facebook. However, the hatefulness is not lost on these message boards- so maybe you’re onto something.
